Main Research Themes

Our research group is mainly devoted to investigate the intelligent electromagnetic manipulation based on soft functional optoelectronic ionic liquids. The specific research include THz properties of ionic liquids, microwave absorbers based on ionic liquids and absorption mechanism, electromagnetic manipulation of ionic liquids, and application of machine learning in the intelligent electromagnetic manipulation based on soft functional optoelectronic ionic liquids.

1. THz characteristics of ionic liquids

  • Experimental study of the properties of ionic liquids in the THz band
  • Theoretical calculation studies the relationship between the properties and microstructure of ionic liquids in the THz band

2. Microwave absorbers based on ionic liquids and absorption mechanism

  • Experimental study on the microwave absorption properties of ionic liquids
  • Theoretical calculation to study the microwave absorption mechanism of ionic liquids
  • Experiments combined with electromagnetic simulation to study ionic liquid-based absorbers

3. Electromagnetic manipulation of ionic liquids

  • Experimental study on the regulation of the properties of ionic liquids by externally applied electric, magnetic and electromagnetic fields
  • Theoretical calculation studies the manipulation of the microstructure of ionic liquids by externally applied electric, magnetic and electromagnetic fields
  • Theoretical calculation studies the nano-wetting behavior of ionic liquids under electric, magnetic and electromagnetic fields

4. Application of machine learning in the intelligent electromagnetic manipulation based on ionic liquids

  • Using deep learning to predict the physical and chemical properties of ionic liquids
  • Using deep learning to predict the dielectric parameters of ionic liquids
  • Using deep learning to predict the structural parameters of ionic liquid-based absorbers
